What is Women Build?

Women Build is a volunteer and fundraising event that empowers women to invest in the community in which they live and work by partnering with East Cooper Habitat for Humanity. Women come together to build stronger and safer communities, and help families in need of decent and affordable housing build better lives for themselves and their children. During the week-long event, women select a shift of their choice and build alongside our Habitat team (and maybe our families!). Volunteers will learn construction skills or even teach others some skills, build new friendships and business connections. Women helping women sends a positive and powerful message, and creates a lasting impact in the lives of East Cooper Habitat families and our community.

When: March 7-11, 2023
Time: Each shift is from 8:30am-2:30pm and includes a t-shirt, lunch, drinks and snacks.
Where: Garden Hill build site in North Mount Pleasant.
